This policy applies to the website studiosmp.net, the Minecraft server StudioSMP.net and our Discord server. We store as little as possible.

2) Website
Server logs
When you visit the website, our server stores access data for technical reasons: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data and browser identifier. This keeps the site secure and helps us fix errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted regularly, after 4 weeks at the latest.
Language cookie
When you switch the language, we set a cookie "lang" with your choice (de or en) for one year. It is strictly necessary for the language version you asked for and therefore needs no consent (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We don't use any other cookies, tracking, analytics or advertising services.
No external content
Fonts, scripts and images are hosted on our own server. The exception is the store page, which loads Tebex's checkout script (see "Store Privacy Policy"). For the status and team pages our server itself requests data from mcstatus.io, Discord and Mojang. No visitor data is sent, only our server address and our team's names.
Status page
For the history on the status page we only store the number of players online, no names.
3) Minecraft server
When you play on StudioSMP.net, we process:
- Minecraft UUID and username
- IP address when you connect, for security and to enforce bans
- Game data such as inventories, homes, in-game money, atoms, playtime, kills and deaths, clan membership, auction house listings and orders, and your rank
- Technical server logs, which can contain timestamps, IP addresses and, depending on the server software, chat messages and commands
- Moderation records such as warnings, mutes and bans with reason and duration
The legal basis is providing the game under our Terms of Service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in a safe and fair game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: game data for as long as you play or until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are deleted regularly, after 4 weeks at the latest. Moderation records for as long as the measure applies or we need them to enforce it.
The data is kept in our own databases on hardware run by the operator.
4) Discord and support
Support and applications run through tickets on our Discord server. Discord is operated by Discord Inc. (USA) and Discord's privacy policy applies. Discord states that it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We only keep ticket contents as long as we need them for your request. If you email us, we process your message to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
5) Purchases
Purchases are handled by Tebex Limited as the seller, see "Store Privacy Policy".
6) Sharing
We don't sell data. Data is only shared with the services named above or where we are legally required to.
7) Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Email support.studiosmp@gmail.com with your Minecraft name. You can also complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example in the country where you live.
We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
8) Changes
If something changes, we update this policy. The version with the latest date applies.
